After earning an MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital, transitioned into leadership within the family business, Expo Traders Ltd. Spearheaded the company’s entry into the construction & supply industry, contributing to landmark projects like the Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Railway Project, Hatirjheel Integrated Development Project, GRP (EPC) Pipe Project, Jolshiri Central Park Project, FRP Sheet Pile and Composite Geomembrane with Accessories supply and installation at 100 Feet Lake Project, CDPL Dhaka-Chittagong Oil Pipe 254 KM Supply and Construction Works, HDPE Pipe Supply for MRT-1 at 09 Underground stations, HDPE Pipe Supply for MRT-5 at 06 Underground stations, Ductile Cast Iron (DCI) Water Pipe Supply and Laying Project (Banglamotor to Nilkhet and Tejgaon).

Under his visionary guidance, the business diversified across multiple sectors, including stock market investments, IT & Equipment Supply, Aviation, Defence, and Crude Oil Refinement. His leadership has driven Goni Group’s involvement in critical national development projects, including partnerships with Bangladesh Railway, RAJUK, and the Bangladesh Armed Forces.

He is an active member of esteemed organizations, including the Dhaka Stock Exchange Brokers Association, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, and Industry (BMCCI), Bangladesh Thai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BTCCI) and others. Along with directing a rapid expansion of the Group’s portfolio of projects and initiatives, Mr. Chowdhury has always been resolute about developing the nation’s human resource capital and creating a wealth of jobs across sectors and capabilities. Today, the Goni Group directly employs a workforce of 500 people, and indirectly benefits the lives of over One hundred thousand people. Under his leadership, the Group has earned itself a reputation for fair practices and a focus on employee growth and welfare.
