In a groundbreaking achievement, Bangladesh has witnessed oil transfer through a 16-inch pipeline from Patenga (Chattogram) to Narayanganj, marking the first time in the nation’s history such an advanced system has been implemented.

The Chattogram–Dhaka Oil Transfer Pipeline Project (CDPL), initiated by Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) and overseen by POC, features a fully automated SCADA system with a state-of-the-art three-layer security network—Pipeline Intrusion Detection System (PIDS), Leak Detection System (LDS), and continuous drone surveillance.

The implementation of this mega infrastructure was carried out with the dedicated support of the 24th and 34th Brigades of the Bangladesh Army.

We, Goni Group (Benchmark, Buildstone, Bibi Corporation, and Ray Communications), are honored to have executed the major portion of this prestigious project. Being part of such a historic moment is a matter of immense pride for us and a testament to our commitment to advancing national development.
